Highlands County Republican Party June Meeting – Thursday June 10th from 6:30 to 7:45 PM at the Sun N Lake Island View Restaurant banquet room in Sebring. Our Guest Speaker will be Florida's National Committeewoman Kathleen King. Kathleen will give an update from the Republican National Committee and the RNC Election Integrity Committee of which she is a member.

Kathleen King is serving in her second term as the Republican National Committeewoman for Florida.

Kathleen has been on the Republican Party of Florida Executive Board since 2008. She has served on the Board as an Officer, Congressional District Caucus Chair, and, as Chair of the Caucus of the 67 County Chairs.

She has also served as Chair of the RPOF Legislative Affairs Committee, and, continues to serve on the powerful RPOF Constitution and Rules Committee.

Kathleen was appointed by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to serve on the 2020 Republican National Convention Committee on Arrangements (COA) and is a 4-time Republican National Convention Delegate.

At each of those conventions she represented Republican women in Florida on a RNC Convention Committee. Most recently, she was one of only 6 Delegates that represented Florida at the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Kathleen is a member of the Electoral College and was a Presidential Elector for President Donald J. Trump in 2020.

This February she was appointed by RNC Chairwoman McDaniel to serve on the RNC Election Integrity committee.

In addition to serving as the National Committeewoman for Florida, Kathleen is Chairwoman of the Republican Party of Manatee County. She has served in this capacity since 2006. This tenure distinguishes her as the longest continuously serving County Chair in the state of Florida.

She resides with her family on Anna Maria Island.
