HCREC

The Highlands County Republican Executive Committee is the governing body of the Republican Party of Highlands County.

Members (precinct committeemen and committeewomen) of the Republican Executive Committee represent the registered Republicans who live in their precincts.  Highlands County has 25 voting precincts.  The number of precinct committeemen and committeewomen in each precinct depends on the number of registered voters in the precinct.

The Highlands County Republican Precinct Committeemen and Precinct Committeewomen elect the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of the local party.  They also approve the county rules, policies and procedures, and budget. The Highlands County Republican Executive Committee Board is comprised of the four officers plus the Highlands County State Committeeman and State Committeewoman.

The HCREC plays an important role in the grassroots effort of the Party and the overall team effort to get Republicans elected both in Highlands County and in state and national elections.

We meet on the second Thursday of the month at the Island View Restaurant at Sun N Lakes in Sebring, FL 33872 in Sebring, Florida 33872. Order dinner from 5:00 PM -6:00 PM (optional). Meeting starts at 6:30 PM and ends at about 7:45 PM.
