Highlands County Supervisor of Elections
Our next Highlands County Republican meeting will be held on Thursday, December 2nd at 6:30 PM at the Island View Restaurant in Sebring. This is a different date than the normal second Thursday of the month, so please take note!
Our Guest Speaker will be our new Supervisor of Elections, Karen Healy. Karen was appointed as Supervisor of Elections by Governor Ron DeSantis after the untimely passing of Penny Ogg. Karen has over 18 years of experience in the SOE office and served most recently as the Assistant Supervisor of Elections. Karen has been also serving as Candidate Coordinator, Candidate Administrator, Public Records Custodian, and Information Officer, as well as Webmaster. Karen will talk about her long-term relationship with Penny Ogg, and about new election rules, and about election integrity.
Dinner (optional) will be available from the Island View menu and can be ordered from 5-6 PM. Members are requested to let our Secretary Judi Bentley know in writing by text or email if you will be unable to attend. Guests are invited but are asked to RSVP with your name and contact info so that we can plan appropriately or notify you of any changes in schedule.
