Highlands County Republican Party Meeting, February 2021

Highlands County Republican Party February meeting - Thursday February 11th from 6:30 to 7:45 PM at the Sun N Lake Island View Restaurant banquet room in Sebring. Dr. Julio Gonzalez will be our Guest Speaker. Dr. Gonzalez is an orthopedic surgeon and lawyer. He is the author of The Dictionary of Orthopedics Terminology, Health Care Reform: the Truth, The Federalist Pages, The Case for Free Market Healthcare, and most recently, Coronalessons. A Miami native and son of Cuban immigrants, Dr. Gonzalez served as a flight surgeon aboard the USS America deploying to Yugoslavia, the Persian Gulf, Latin America, and Somalia. Dr. Gonzalez is a former member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 74th District, which includes Englewood, North Port, and Venice in Sarasota County, from 2014 to 2018.

Dinner (optional) will be available from the Island View menu and can be ordered from 5-6 PM. All virus guidelines in place as of January 21st will be followed. Masks are required.
