Highlands County Republicans March Meeting

Highlands County Republicans will hold their next meeting Thursday March 8th, 2018 at 6:30 pm at the Inn on the Lakes in Sebring. Dinner can be ordered from 5-6 PM and is optional. Call party headquarters at 863-402-5456 to make dinner reservations. 
Our featured guest speaker will be Bill Akins, Candidate for U.S. Congress, District 17.
Mr. Akins served in he U.S. Army from Nov 1966 to 1972 and received numerous honors and medals, including Four Bronze Stars. Since moving to Southwest Florida in 2010, Bill has been extremely involved in his community and Veterans Organizations such as the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), the American Legion Post 110, and the Vietnam Brotherhood.  Bill is also a life member of the NRA. We have had eighteen new members join as new Precinct Committeemen or Precinct Committeewomen in the last few months. We still have openings for new members in almost all precincts.
